Benzhou Industrial Park (Gangshan District)

The Benzhou Industrial Park was founded under an economic stimulus program in the 90s to promote private investment and create jobs. Construction began in 1996 on a piece of farmland in Gangshan that originally belonged to Taiwan Sugar Corporation. Sitting on 208 hectares, the Benzhou Industrial Park, which focuses on metal processing and precision machinery, includes a general industrial zone, an environmental technology zone, a logistics zone, and a zone for related industries. The park is a key industrial cluster in southern Taiwan. The Environmental Technology R&D Building, a green building located in the park and a hotbed of environmental education, has the newest environmental protection equipment from Taipower and CPC Corporation on display.
